On 16 April the USPI Management Board meeting is held at the offices of Basell-Lyondell in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
The meeting consists of a closed part and an open part. At the closed part of the meeting the Business Plan 2009 will be presented for endorsement by the members. The open part of
the meeting is held jointly with the Dutch NC381184 expert network, started in 2008. A number of relevant practical standards developments are presented. These are:
- The Dutch Experts Network set-up under NC381184 in 2008
- The VDI 3805 standard for HVAC equipment that is used in practice and will be proposed for ISO to canvass the standard.
- The ISO29002 standard that is required to identify global dictionaries and retrieve dictionary data for use in e.g. company catalogs and engineering activities.
- The status of IFD (International Framework for Dictionaries, IFC (Industry Founmdation Classes and BIM (Building Information Model) and the way these are used in the Building & Construction sector in The Netherlands.
- The Gellish standard for process modeliing and B&C modeling. The standard is used in a number of pratical projects and is brought to ISO level now.
