On 6 November 2006 a data integration workshop was held in Denver, USA. The participants were representatives from FIATECH, USPI, POSCCaesar. This group came together for the first time in August 2005 in Wilmington, USA at the offices of Dupont where strategic alignment was achieved on life cycle data.
A follow-up meeting was held in The Hague in June 2006. This workshop was the third time the group came together with the objective to progress the issue of interoperability.

Key subjects presented and discussed were:

- the USPI roadmap and the data readiness assessment programma carried out by USPI

- the ISO 15926 standard and the Maintenance Agency for ISO15926-4

- the FIATECH ADI project and the POSCCaesar IDS project

- the comparison study by USPI on AEX, ISO15926-7, Gellish Table, NE100

- Proposal for sustained global collaboration
