Welcome to the ISOTC184/SC4 meeting

You are cordially invited to join the ISOTC184/SC4 meeting that will be held from 8-13 November 09 at the Erasmus university, Rotterdam.

In the next pages of the website you will find more information about the program, the industry forum days that are held in conjunction, the daily schedule, the hotel accommodation available, the option to register for the meeting as expert, either in the context of TC184/SC4 or for a national body or industry group or for an individual company.

The meeting is held twice a year i.e. in May and in November and is hosted by national bodies and/or association in one of the connected countries. This time USPI, association for standardisation in the process industry, is hosting the meeting jointly with NEN, the national standards body of the Netherlands.

The scope of TC184/SC4 is Industrial Data which includes all information and data associated with products, plants and installations over the life cycle.The ISOTC184/SC4 meeting is an international meeting where standards developers of many countries meet to discuss and agree international standards that will make management of information of products, plants and installations easier and more effective. As a result those products, plants and installations will be safer, more reliable, more friendly to environment at lower costs. Also innovation into new services is facilitated by these standards.

The Erasmus university complex has been chosen because of its natural function of facilitating conferences, lectures, trainings and workshops of various nature.The complex is functional, pleasant and gives good opportunities to meet and discuss both inside the formal meeting rooms and in the walking corridors.
